Today’s tutorial is for a quick Camellia card. The Calming Camellia stamp set is an exclusive free set for our workshop hosts.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Calming Camellia stamp set. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using the stamps.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Camellia card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Calming Camellia stamp set is 158117).
If you host a workshop, party or class with sales of £275 or more during Sale-a-bration, then you will get the Calming Camellia set for free. Similarly, if you have a larger order all of your own and you spend £275 or more, then you also get the set for free. Now I agree that it is a lot of money to spend but if you have a bunch of friends who would all like to buy some new crafting goodies then those orders all add up and you could pass the stamp set between yourselves. Email me if you’d like to know more about earning this stamp set.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Polished Pink, Metallic Gold and Basic White.
Quick Camellia card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Polished Pink. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Expression in Ink Specialty DSP. Adhere this direct to the card front. Cut a card front layer (3″ x 3-1/2″) of Basic White card. Using Polished Pink ink, stamp the large floral spray from the Calming Camellia set onto the white panel. Mat onto (3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″) Gold Foil and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Cut a sentiment strip (2-1/2″ x 3/4″) of Basic White card. Using Polished Pink ink, stamp the birthday sentiment from the Calming Camellia set onto the white strip. Mat onto (2-3/4″ x 1″) Gold Foil and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Tie a small knot of Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon and adhere of the stem of the floral spray with a Mini Glue Dot.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Quick Camellia card insert
On the Basic White insert, Polished Pink ink, stamp another sentiment from the Calming Camellia set. Add the flourish from the set below the sentiment and in the top left corner with the same ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
