Today’s tutorial is for a cheesy Mischievous Mice card. I created a film strip style frame for the main coloured image.
Both the Mischievous Mice stamp set and the Design a Daydream DSP are exclusive to customers who host a party/class or simply shop the minimum qualifying amount on their own or with friends.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the cheesy Mischievous Mice card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Daffodil Delight, Basic Black and Smoky Slate.
Cheesy Mischievous Mice card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Basic Black. Mat with a card front layer of Design a Daydream DSP. Cut a 4″ x 3″ panel of Basic Black card. Cut a 2-1/2″ x 2″ window centrally from this panel with the Paper Trimmer (see video below). Die cut the sides of the window panel with the slotted edging die from the Blossoming Happiness die set.
Using Memento Black ink, stamp the mouse with cheese image from the Mischievous Mice stamp set onto a panel of Basic White card. Colour the stamped image with Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Blends. Trim the panel and adhere direct behind the die cut frame. Pop the stamped panel up on the card front at an angle with dimensionals. Stamp a sentiment from the set onto a strip of Basic White card. Adhere to a strip of Basic Black card that has been die cut at one side and pop up on the card front with dimensionals.
Here’s a short video showing how to create a frame with a Paper Trimmer. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Cheesy Mischievous Mice card insert
On the Basic White insert, stamp another sentiment and just the balloon from the Mischievous Mice stamp set. Colour the balloon with Daffodil Delight Blends.
