Today’s tutorial is for an Eden frames birthday card. The Eden dies include both a small and a larger frame. We’re using both of them on this card front. As the card front elements are quite busy, I selected a monochromatic colour scheme to avoid clashes.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Eden frames birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Basic White.
Eden frames birthday card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Petal Pink. Mat with a card front layer of Pretty Prints DSP. Die cut the small frame from both Calypso Coral and Basic White card, with the Eden dies. Using Calypso Coral ink, stamp a sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set onto the white inner frame centre. Jigsaw piece the Coral outer and White inner small frames together and add mini dimensionals on the back to hold them together (see video below). Pop up in the centre of the card front. Die cut the large frame from Petal Pink card. Pop the larger frame up on the card front with mini dimensionals.
Here’s a short video sharing tips for jigsaw piecing the frames together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Eden frames birthday card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Calypso Coral ink, stamp another sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells set. Add a border of Pretty Prints DSP down the right side.
Here’s another version of the same card using a sympathy sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set with greens from the Pretty Prints DSP.
Thanks for stopping by.
