Today’s tutorial is for a quick Tree Lot Christmas card. The Tree Lot die set can be used on its own but has been designed to co-ordinate with the Trees for Sale stamp set.
The Tree Lot die set is free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Tree Lot die set. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week, that share different ideas for using these dies, both alone and with the co-ordinating stamp set.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Tree Lot Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Tree Lot dies is 159938).
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Metallic Gold.
Quick Tree Lot Christmas card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Evening Evergreen. Mat with a central 3″ wide panel of Lights Aglow Specialty DSP. Adhere a skinny strip of Evening Evergreen Glimmer Specialty Paper to either side of the DSP. Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Trees for Sale stamp set onto a 2″ x 4″ Basic White panel. Mat onto Evening Evergreen card and pop up on the card front with dimensionals.
Using the Tree Lot dies, die cut a small solid tree from Soft Succulent card. Back a scrap of Evening Evergreen card with Adhesive Sheet and die cut the small detailed tree from it. Remove the backing and adhere it direct to the sold tree. Die cut a teeny star from Gold Glimmer Specialty Paper and adhere direct to the top of the tree. Pop the tree up on the card front with dimensionals. Trim the tree with a scattering of Festive Pearls.

Quick Tree Lot Christmas card insert
On the inside, using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp another sentiment from the Trees for Sale set. Ink up the small solid tree with Evening Evergreen ink, stamp off once and then stamp on the lower right of the insert. Stamp over the top with the detailed tree in the same ink. Curve the string of lights on the stamp block and using Memento ink, stamp across the top of the insert. Colour in the lightbulbs with a dark Daffodil Delight Blend.
Thanks for stopping by.
