Today’s tutorial is for a Textural Christmas card. Stampin’ Blends are used to transform the colour of the Textural Elements.
The Textural Elements are part of the Boughs of Holly suite but I’ve teamed them with the Merriest Moments and Frames for this Christmas card.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Textural Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Poppy Parade, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.
Textural Christmas card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Poppy Parade. Adhere a card front layer of Boughs of Holly DSP. Using the dies from the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder (a folder and die set), cut a card front panel from Basic White card and three holly leaves from Mossy Meadow card. Stamp a sentiment the Merriest Moments set onto the right side of the panel with Poppy Parade ink. Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp the holly leaves onto the leaf die cuts.
Mat the sentiment panel onto Poppy Parade card and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Pop the holly leaves up on dimensionals, creating a border down the left side of the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Blends (see video) to colour one of the Textural Elements and adhere it over the holly border with Mini Glue Dots.

Textural Christmas card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Poppy Parade ink, stamp another sentiment from the Merriest Moments set. Add a border of Boughs of Holly DSP along the base.
