This winter season card was a very special card that I made for just a few very special friends (with a few tiny tweaks in between versions to make them as unique as my friends ).

The card base was an A6 portrait of Island Indigo. An aperture was die cut into the front with a Windows Collection framelit (129021) and then the front was stamped with the snowflake from the Four Seasons (hostess) stamp set (W126830 or C126832) using the Craft Whisper White ink. A large round Holiday Ornament (127816) was die cut from Pool Party card and pierced and stitched according to our tutorial. This was adhered together with another large ornament stamped with the winter season image and then they were hung at the top of the aperture. A Brushed Silver frame was embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty folder (116824) before adhering around the aperture. The teeny robin was stamped onto Whisper White card with Island Indigo ink, punched out with the 1″ Circle (119868) and popped up on a dimensional in the centre of the bauble. The Petite Pairs sentiment (W122495 or C122497) was stamped in Versamark ink onto Island Indigo card, heat embossed with Silver EP and punched out with the Word Window (119857) . After adhering to a Modern Label (119849) of Pool Party it was popped up on dimensionals on the front of the card. Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to the centres of the snowflakes and to the robin’s chest to finish.

For the inside, just the snowflake circle from the winter season image was stamped through the aperture using Craft Whisper White ink. The matching Petite Pairs sentiment and more snowflakes were stamped onto a partial Whisper White insert using Island Indigo ink.

All my cards are out now … I think … I hope! 

Just a little last minute gift wrapping to complete now – haha, I am the queen of last minute!
