valentine bag close up

Our day 6 project is a small heart bag to match the day 5 card. This little bag, created from the petal cone die, can hang from a door handle and carry some chocolates or other small treats.

Recipe
Stamp set: Valentine Love (W122695 or C122697)
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler (121681), Very Vanilla (106550), Brushed Gold (124917)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler (119669), SU Markers (119806), SU Pastels (120962)
Punches: Full Heart (119883)
Satin  Ribbon: Very Vanilla (117291)
Bigz L Die: Petal Cone (121810)
Tools: Big Shot (113439), Color Spritzer Tool (107066), Sponge Daubers (102892), Crop-a-dile (108362)

Two segments of petal cone were die cut from Cherry Cobbler card. The offcut was used to create the templates for the front mats which were then cut from Brushed Gold and Very Vanilla card. Two scallop semi-circles were die cut from Very Vanilla card and adhered behind the front petal cone segments. The two segments were adhered flat to each other along the side flaps. Using Cherry Cobbler ink the entwined heart was stamped onto the Very Vanilla bag front layer. This was spritzed around the edges with Cherry Cobbler and Soft Suede Markers  and then chalked with Cherry Cobbler. The layer was adhered direct to the Brushed Gold layer and then popped up on the bag front with dimensionals. After stamping the heart again with Cherry Cobbler ink onto Cherry Cobbler card  it was punched out with the Full Heart and popped up on dimensionals in the centre of the heart on the bag front. The Crop-a-dile was used to punch small holes on either side of the bag and Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon was threaded through and tied in a knot.

Thanks for stopping by.
