Casing my own Blossom card

July 20, 2012

My neighbour came over for a coffee and craft again this morning and asked to make a card that looks impressive but isn’t too difficult – my favourite kind, lol!

We had a little look through my box of samples and selected this Mixed Bunch Blossom birthday card;

Which we then remade using a coffee and cream colour combo:

It looks like I converted the original photo to sepia doesn’t it? I didn’t – honest! Laughing

We used Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Card, Soft Suede ink and substituted Gold Brads for the Basic Rhinestones.  We also mixed and matched the Easy Events sentiments as we wanted to use Birthday Wishes instead of Happy Birthday.

I think that you just can’t go wrong with this colour combo but then I also like the bright colours of the original. Which do you prefer? Please leave me a comment and let me know.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
