Tulle Ribbon Framed Congratulations

September 10, 2012

Well I was bushed when I got back from the Papercraft Show at Don Valley Stadium yesterday but we had a great day. If you’re stopping by for the first time after meeting us yesterday, then “Hi”, it was lovely to meet you. And a great big thank you to my regular friends and customers (one and the same Laughing) who stopped by to say Hello – it was fantastic to see you too! We’ll be back at the Papercraft Show again on Sunday 18 November if you’d like to put it in your diary.

Meanwhile I have a quick change from the Halloween and Christmas projects today. This is a card that I made to congratulate two of my downlines (team members) for achieving Bronze 2 promotions, but it would work equally well as a numbered anniversary card – don’t you think?

The card base is Crumb Cake and was matted with a Very Vanilla card layer that had been run through the Big Shot with the Holiday Frame embossing folder (127820). An Extra-large Oval (119859) punched from Early Espresso card was backed with Sticky Strip and gathered Crumb Cake Scallop Tulle Ribbon (127840). The number 2 from the Number It stamp set (W122580 or C122582) was stamped in Soft Suede onto Very Vanilla card, cut out, popped up on stacked dimensionals and secured to the centrepiece with Antique Brass Brads (Metallic 119741) before popping the whole embellishment up on dimensionals in the centre of the holiday frame. The sentiment from the Perfect Punches set (W117022 or C120516) was stamped in Soft Suede ink again onto Very Vanilla card, punched out with the Modern Label punch (119849) and popped up on more dimensionals below the centrepiece.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
