A natural birthday card

Can you believe it’s another Paper Dolls birthday today? I think I should move my birthday to March and join in this team trend, lol.

Today, it’s Joanne’s turn and this was my card to celebrate the occasion:

The card base is an A6 landscape of Crumb Cake. A mat of the same card was run through the Honeycomb embossing folder (129378) on the lower portion only and the sentiment from Bring on the Cake (W121899 or C121958) was stamped above it in Early Espresso ink. After matting the layer onto Early Espresso card, Natural Trim Ribbon (129287) was wrapped around the layers and then all were adhered direct to the front of the card. Natural Composition Specialty DSP (126917) was sponged with Early Espresso ink and any excess wiped away. This was then run through the Honeycomb folder and the small hexagons trimmed out and adhered in a pattern on the card front. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024) was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake card, punched out with the Jewelry Tag (117190) and tied onto a Naturals Designer Button (127554) with Linen Thread (104199). More of the same buttons were tied with Linen Thread and all were added to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

On the inside, the Very Vanilla insert was stamped with a sentiment from the Bring on the Cake set previously used and a flower from Papaya Collage (W126610 or C126612).

Happy Birthday Joanne – hope you got spoiled rotten!

Sara xx
