… fly onto my card.

Today’s birthday card is great for kids or even those who are just young at heart Smile

There’s a little touch of glitz on the bumble bees wings but unfortunately the photo doesn’t pick it up too well.

The base card is an A6 landscape of Basic Black. After stamping the sentiment from Curly Cute (W117014 or C120510) in Versamark ink (102283) onto a mat of Real Red card, it was heat embossed with Black EP (109133). The Score Tool (122334) was used to score double lines just under the sentiment and again just over 1″ below the first set. Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (126872) was tied below these lowers scored lines and the mat was adhered to the front of the card. The ladybird from the Spring Sampler set (W125510 or C125512) was stamped in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card four times and the spots coloured in with the Basic Black marker (100082). The bumblebee from the same set was stamped in Black Stazon (101406), coloured with a Daffodil Delight marker (119677) and Dazzling Diamonds (102023) added to the wings. After punching the ladybirds and bumblebee out with the 1″ Circle (119868), they were popped up between the scored lines on dimensionals.

The sentiment from Petite Pairs (W122495 or C122497) was stamped on the Whisper White card using Basic Black ink  and the butterfly from the Spring Sampler set was stamped in the corner using Real Red ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
