I’m on a mission Laughing

I’ve been doing my usual trick and hoarding the lovely printed window sheets from my Quatrefancy Specialty DSP pack … saving them for best, lol.

Which means that if I’m not careful, they’ll never get used at all, so I’m determined that my projects for the the next few posts will include some of this pretty acetate.

First up, here’s a birthday card that will work well as a masculine card.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Basic Black. After stamping the sentiment from Sassy Salutations (Wood 132070 or Clear 126707) in Versamark (102283) at the bottom of the card it was heat embossed with White EP (109132). This section was cut away and retained and an extra strip of black card cut from the front. The Quatrefancy Specialty (130141) printed window sheet was adhered across the gap to put the card front back together. A piece of Modern Medley DSP (126926) with a matching pattern, was adhered to the upper portion of the card front. Mosaics motifs from the Mosaic Madness set (Wood 130246 or Clear 130249) were stamped on the scrap of Basic Black that had been cut away and punched out with the Mosaic punch (131267). (Buy the stamp set and punch together as a bundle and save 15% – Wood Bundle 132734 or Clear Bundle 132733). These were popped up on the card front with dimensionals and Neutrals Candy Dots (130934) added to the centres of a couple of them.

The Whisper White insert was stamped with the sentiment from Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 or Clear 122497) in Basic Black. This insert was kept narrow and high, so that a black background showed behind the printed window sheet.

Am I the only one that hoards the special bits? Please leave me a comment and let me know that I’m not on my own Smile
