Happy Watercolor thank you

This water coloured thank you card is quick and simple to make as the stamp does the “water colouring” for you.

The base card is an A6 portrait of Blushing Bride card, matted with pistachio Pudding. Using the Blushing Bride ink and the large blotch stamp from Happy Watercolor (Wood 133188 or Clear 133191), this was stamped three times down the Whisper White card front, rotating the stamp and overlapping it just slightly. The thank you sentiment from the same set was stamped in the upper right corner using Real Red ink. Black Stazon ink was used to stamp the poppy over the top of the “water coloured” background and the poppy head was stamped again onto a scrap of Whisper White card. An Old Olive marker was used to colour the stem on the card front and a Real Red marker was used to colour the poppy head on the card scrap. After cutting out the coloured poppy head it was popped up on the card front with a dimensional.

This design would work really well for a set of cards for gifting, so I may be back with more in the future Laughing
