A quick share today, of the card we made as one of the projects at the Arksey craft group yesterday.

The group had already bought the Label Card thinlits set and we were going to use the retired Festive Flurry set to decorate it with, but when they saw the new Festival of Trees sample I demonstrated, they wanted to stick with it 😀

The base card was die cut out of Pool Party card using the Label Card thinlit. All is Calm DSP was matted to the back of the card and a sliver of Silver Glimmer Paper added. The floral tree from Festival of Trees* was stamped on the front of the card with Lost Lagoon ink. Two labels from the thinlit set were die cut from Whisper White card and one adhered to the card front. After stamping the first half of the sentiment pair from Festival of Trees in Lost Lagoon ink onto Whisper White card, it was die cut out with one of the banner framelits in the thinlit set and formed and popped up on the card front. After stamping the spotty tree in Lost Lagoon ink it was punched out with the Tree* and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. An Itty Bitty Accents star, punched from Silver Glimmer Paper was added to the top of the tree and Basic Rhinestones to decorate the tree.

* Buy the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set and the Tree punch as a Festival of Trees Bundle and save 15%.

The other half of the sentiment pair from Festival of Trees was stamped onto the other label and adhered to the reverse of the card front.

If you have/attend a craft group on a regular (or even irregular 🙂 ) basis then please get in touch. I can offer a variety of ways to share tips, techniques and often freebies with your group, ranging from workshops to classes to virtual clubs. I’d love to come along and meet you and your crafting friends 😀
