Batch of Many Merry Stars cards

December 20, 2014

I’ve been busy over the last few days making another batch of cards (hubby helped, bless him).

As today was the last posting day this will be my last batch of Christmas cards (this year) but I will soon be starting on a new batch … of invites to my Sale-a-bration Celebration event in the new year 🙂

The colour combos are Smokey Slate/Basic Gray, Pear Pizzazz/Old Olive and Soft Sky/Lost Lagoon, all with All is Calm DSP.

The card base is a 5″ square of Soft Sky. All is Calm DSP was matted onto some scrap card for strength and the a Star framelit die cut from the centre. A Lost Lagoon frame was created with a duo of the framelits and adhered around the aperture before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. A star from the Many Merry Stars set was stamped in Lost Lagoon ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with a smaller Star framelit and popped up in the centre of the aperture.

On the Whisper White insert, the sentiment and the snowflake from the same Many Merry Stars set were stamped in Lost Lagoon ink and a strip of the DSP added across the base.

I’ve been neglecting stamping my envelopes recently but I did remember with this set and stamped a teeny sentiment and snowflake on the envelope flap with Lost Lagoon ink.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Off now to deliver a few more presents.
