Kind and Cozy Circles

The Kind and Cozy stamp set has an “extra” stamp in addition to the six expected ones – a circle within a circle. The centre of the gingham frame is a plain circle that can also be used. If you have a wood mount set then you will need to find an extra wooden block to mount it on but if you have clear mount then you can simply use it with a clear block, as and when you need it. Don’t you love getting extra for FREE! 🙂

The card base is an A6 landscape of Early Espresso, matted with Crumb Cake. Using Crumb Cake ink, the extra circle from the Kind & Cozy set was stamped direct and then the heart stamped over the top in Baked Brown Sugar ink. The gingham frame was stamped onto Very Vanilla card with Baked Brown Sugar ink and then the flowers stamped in the centre. These were punched out with the 2-1/2″ Circle and popped up on the card front with dimensionals, overlapping the original stamped circle. After stamping the coffee cup in Baked Brown Sugar ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card it was punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle, matted onto a 1-3/8″ Circle punched from Baked Brown Sugar card and popped up on dimensionals overlapping the original stamped circle, on the other side. Finally a Very Vintage Designer Button was threaded with Early Espresso Baker’s Twine, the Twine looped and secured with Mini Glue Dots on the reverse before adhering to the card front, tucking it under the coffee cup slightly.

Another sentiment from the same set was stamped on the Very Vanilla insert with Baked Brown Sugar ink.
