Pictogram punches valentine

It’s the weekend (woohoo!) and so I have another valentine for you that uses an alternative (non-valentine) stamp set. This week I’ve used the Pictogram Punches and combined it with the Hearts border punch.

The card base is an A6 portrait  of Basic Black, matted with Stacked with Love DSP. Strips of Silver Foil (on offer in this week’s Weekly Deals) were adhered along the top and bottom of the card. Narrower strips of Basic Black were first punched with the Hearts Border and then popped up on teeny slivers of dimensionals over the Silver Foil. The vase from Pictogram Punches was stamped with Memento Black ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with an Ovals Collection framelit and popped up on dimensionals in the centre of the card. Hearts from the same set were stamped with Real Red ink onto scraps of Whisper White, punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents heart and popped up over the ends of the stems. Finally a frame, die cut using two of the Ovals Collection framelits from Basic Black card, was popped up outside the stamped vase and hearts.

The Whisper White insert was punched along the top with the Hearts Border. Memento Black ink was used to stamp the sentiment from the Pictogram Punches onto the insert, then a heart punched from a scrap of another Stacked with Love DSP was adhered over the top of the original heart.

Just a week to go to Valentine’s Day 🙂
