A Happy Thing bundle



To help you with ideas for earning your freebies, each week until the end of Sale-a-bration, I’m suggesting a possible bundle and sharing a couple of projects that use that bundle. These are only suggestions – you’re always free to switch and change to suit your preferences, or choose something else entirely!

This is the card we made with our freebie.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Pumpkin Pie. After running a layer of Bermuda Bay card through the Woodgrain embossing folder it was adhered direct to the front of the card. The bird from A Happy Thing was stamped onto Whisper White card with Memento Black ink and then coloured in with Blendabilities in Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette. This was die cut out with a Window Frames Collection framelit and adhered direct to the card front. A frame was die cut from Pumpkin Pie card with two Window Frame framelits and popped up on slivers of dimensionals. Just the “A Very Happy” section of the Happy Thing sentiment was inked direct to stamp with an ordinary (not Blendies) Basic Black marker and stamped onto Whisper White card. The “Birthday” sentiment from the Hooray It’s Your Day set was also inked direct to stamp and stamped onto Whisper White card. Each was matted onto Pumpkin Pie card and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

On the Whisper White insert another sentiment from the Hooray It’s Your Day set and the bird from A Happy Thing set were stamped in Bermuda Bay ink (the bird was stamped off first for a paler look).
