A golden wedding anniversary

In the run up to the holidays it was my parents 50th wedding anniversary (wow – what a milestone!), so now that all the Christmas projects are complete, I thought I’d share the card with you.

I used a few favourites that are now retired!

The card base is an A5 of retired Brushed Gold. Panels of more Brushed Gold were run through the Big Shot with the Elegant Dots, Lucky Stars and Boho Chic embossing folders. I also used a sneak peek from the upcoming Spring/Summer catalogue – the Confetti embossing folder (the third panel down – it leaves an oval frame in the centre). Retired Hearts Collection framelits were die cut from Gold Foil, interconnected by hiding a cut line behind a solid frame and popped up on dimensionals. The numbers were die cut from Gold Shimmer Paper using Little Number Thinlits then adhered to a Large Oval punched from Gold Foil, Extra-Large Oval punched from Gold Shimmer Paper and an Ovals Collection framelit die cut from Gold Foil. After stacking these they were popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

I’ll be back soon with a few more sneak peeks from the Spring/Summer and Sale-a-bration (freebies with purchase) catalogues, ahead of the official launch of both on 5 January.

Sara xx
