Eastern glitz embossing paste

July 14, 2017

Happy Friday! Have you taken a look at the Pattern Party Decorative Masks that work so well with Embossing Paste? One of them has an Eastern Beauty motif – ideal for creating a background for the die cut or stamped pieces!

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crumb Cake, matted with Pool Party. Embossing Paste was applied to a card front layer of Tranquil Tide using the Pattern Party Decorative Mask and a Palette Knife. While the paste was still wet, Dazzling Diamonds was poured over and tapped off. Tip – the glitter rubs away easily with this method so you may prefer to mix the glitter into the paste before applying it. Two dies from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits were used to cut a medallion from Pool Party card and then the largest Layering Circle was used to cut out the medallion entirely. Another circle of the same size was cut from Crumb Cake and the Pool Party circle popped up on dimensionals and then both popped up on the card front. Tranquil Tide ink was used to stamp the sentiment and Crumb Cake ink to stamp a circle motif from the Eastern Beauty stamp set onto Whisper White card. These were punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle before adhering it direct in the centre of the layered medallions on the card front.

The Whisper White insert was stamped along the bottom with a swirl motifs from the Eastern Beauty stamp set using Pool Party ink and a sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set was added with Tranquil Tide ink.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
