July Team Training swaps

July 21, 2013

What a brilliant day. We had our team training and it was a fantastic get together, if a little chaotic at times – a big group today Laughing

We had catalogue shares (where we all buy different papers, ribbons etc and share them out so that we get a little bit of everything), a demo of a new product that should be coming soon Wink, make and takes, talk of convention and swaps …

These were my swaps for the team.

Three basic wooden pegs were covered with different strips of Soho Subway DSP (130140) and topped with a Clay Blossom (Simply Pressed Clay 130685) coloured with drops of ink refill (Island Indigo 122932, Early Espresso 119789, Calypso Coral 122934). Four metres of matching Baker’s Twine (Island Indigo 125575, Early Espresso 123124, Calypso Coral 125573) were wrapped around the peg then all were popped in Cellophane Bags (102757) trimmed down a little to size. Bag toppers were created with Early Espresso card covered with a strip of more Soho Subway DSP. The sentiment from Label Love* (W130619 or C130622) was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla card, punched out with the Artisan Label* (130920) and popped up on the topper with dimensionals.

* Buy the stamp set and punch together as a bundle (W132723 or C132722) and get 15% off. That’s £30.75 for wood and £27.25 for clear – sorry, there’s a few errors in the catty but it’s cheaper than published!

Here’s the batch of them (actually I made a few more extra than these for our guests).

If you’d like to come to the next Team Training, it’s on Sunday 18 August, 1pm – 3pm. Just let me know you’d like to come along so that we have enough make and take packs prepared 🙂
