A very Merry Christmas to you all!
I hope you have had an excellent day. We had my Mum and Dad for dinner (should I make the joke about not affording a turkey, lol). Everything went smoothly and I was able to taste my lunch – I’m going to count that as a major success!
A quick share then – this is the card that I made for my Mum and Dad
Recipe
Stamp set: Lovely as a Tree (W101223), Welcome Christmas (W118736 or C120597)
Cardstock: Shimmery White (121717), Whisper White (106549), Brushed Silver (124918)
Ink: Versamark (102283)
Punches: Doily Triple Layer (122465), Scallop Trim Border (118402)
Medium Sizzlits Die: Timeless Type Junior Alphabet (115951)
Other: Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (120805), Silver EP (109131), Fine Galaxy Glitter (114286), Dazzling Diamonds (102023), Clear Rhinestone Brads (113144),
Tools: Big Shot (113439), Heat Tool (110197), Paper Piercing Tool (116631)
The card base is Shimmery White A4 card folded to an A5. Another mat of Shimmery White was stamped with the winter trees (from Lovely as a Tree) and the sledding children (from Welcome Christmas) in Versamark and heat embossed with Silver EP. The Merry Xmas sentiment was die cut and glittered using the technique here and applied direct to the mat. Doilies were punched and glittered using the same technique, were layered with Brushed Silver doilies and secured with Clear Rhinestone brads. This layer was popped up on dimensionals onto a mat of Brushed Silver, punched top and bottom with the Scallop Trim Border. The two layers were then popped up on more dimensionals onto the card front.
They like it 🙂
