I’m back with another valentine’s day project and this time it’s a small box full of kisses (Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses ) – using the same colour combo that I used for the card yesterday.
Recipe
Stamp set: I {Heart} Hearts (W117010 or C118571), Teeny Tiny Wishes (W115370)
Cardstock: Basic Gray (121689), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Melon Mambo (115656), Basic Gray (109120)
DSP: Brights Patterns Stack (117155), 2011-2013 In Color Patterns Stack (122383)
Punches: Small Heart (117193), Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (119275), Word Window (119857)
Bigz L Die: Mini Milk Carton (117310)
Ruffled Ribbon: Island Indigo (122974)
Other: Clips Assortment (112580), Window Sheet (114323)
Tools: Big Shot (113439)
The Mini Milk Carton was die cut from Basic Gray card using the Big Shot. In order to punch the Small Heart aperture, one of the base flaps was cut away – this still leaves 3 flaps so the box base remains sturdy enough. A strip of Melon Mambo DSP was stamped with the outline heart in Basic Gray ink. Two Dotted Scallop Ribbon Borders were punched from Island Indigo DSP and adhered behind the Melon Mambo strip before all were adhered around the unassembled Mini Milk Carton. The Small Heart was repunched through the DSP using the card aperture for placement. A small piece of Window Sheet was adhered across the inside of the aperture so that the box contents don’t spill out. The box was assembled. Four Small Hearts were punched from Melon Mambo DSP and arranged in pairs, popped up on slivers of dimensional on either side of the carton lid. The Valentine sentiment was selectively inked and punched out with the Word Window which was then reinserted and punched again to fit the length of the text. Another Word Window was punched from Basic Gray card, shortened in the same manner and adhered behind the sentiment before popping up on the box front with dimensionals. After filling the carton with kisses it was closed shut with a Clip tied with Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon.
The Clip takes off to open the carton.
These would also make great wedding favours.
Back with another valentine project tomorrow.

My local Asda stocks a whole range of Hershey’s chocs and are now extending to include different flavours (cookies and cream, yum) and Reece’s Pieces. Hope you can find some at yours 😉
Hi Sara,
I love the projects so far and the colour combos are gorgeous.
Can you tell me where are you getting Hershey Kisses from please?
Linda
Where did you get your chocolate kisses from? I love them but never seen them sold in England – sad times! x
