One of our Paper Dolls team, Hazel, promoted to Bronze 3 just recently and so of course I wanted to make a card to help her celebrate this success (I’ll explain about the Bronze 3 part in a bit).
It’s ages since I’ve played the MojoMonday challenge and so I popped over there to find that this week, it’s a choice of round or square layout:
Unusually for me, I opted for the square layout to make this card:
The card base is Soft Suede and was matted and layered with two different types of Mocha Morning DSP (122366) (this isn’t part of the Buy 3, Get 1 free offer on DSP that ends tomorrow – just as well really or I would never have discovered that I actually like the Domestic Goddess paper, lol – the name put me off!). The number (from the Number It stamp set (W122580 or C122582)) and the sentiment (from the Curly Cute stamp set (W117014 or C120510) were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold EP. The circle in the centre is a combination of the 1-3/4″ Circle punch (119850) and the Circles 2 die (114526) and the number was curved over a couple of stacked dimensionals and secured with metallic brads (119741). A frame was created for the sentiment using the Scallop Edge Border punch (119882).
So, what’s the significance of Bronze 3 you may be asking? Well all demonstrators start off at Bronze 1 level when they join Stampin’ Up! Then, if they wish (there’s no pressure), they can earn promotions through their sales, recruitment and leadership. The promotions can earn you increased commissions and extra discounted or free products whenever a new catalogue comes out. Hazel will now qualify for 20% off a small bundle of products when the new catalogue launches in October, as well as getting her normal discount/commission on the order. It’s another SU! bonus and another reason that I love working with this company – they really treat their demonstrators well. If you’d like to know more about joining our Paper Dolls team and working towards your first promotion, then just email me or give me a call on 0775 1133886.
Have a great weekend.
