Snowflake tree decoration

October 19, 2012

Yesterday I shared a spider’s web door hanger and today I’m back to give it a Christmas makeover and turn it into a snowflake decoration for hanging on the tree.

The rosette was made on the Scoring Tool (122334) with Be of Good Cheer DSP (126896). After die-cutting the Delicate Doilies medallion (126999) (yesterday’s spider’s web) from Very Vanilla card it was adhered over the top of the rosette (with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive). The small snowflake from the Snowflake Soiree set (W127922 or C127925) was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Very Vanilla card, cut out, matted onto Cherry Cobbler card, cut out again and popped up on a dimensional before topping with a Basic Rhinestone (119246).

Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon (120999) was adhered between circles of Cherry Cobbler card on the reverse for hanging. The smaller medallion, die cut at the same time as the medium one, was popped up on slivers of dimensionals in the centre and another Basic Rhinestone added to the centre.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
