Had a great day at the Doncaster Deaf Academy today. If you were one of the lovely people that stopped by our stall to say “Hi” then thank you, it made our day
As there’s been so much news to pass on to you over the last few days and so little chance to share cards, I prepared this one before heading out to the show this morning
The card case is an A6 landscape of Tempting Turquoise that was background stamped with the large flower from Betsy’s Blossoms (W126004 or C126006) in Tempting Turquoise ink. After stamping the leaf from the same set in Gumball Green ink and the medium flower in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card, they were cut out by hand and popped up on dimensionals on the bottom right of the card front. Images from the same set and a sentiment from Sassy Salutations (W126705 or C126707) were stamped in Whisper White ink onto Basic Black card and given the chalkboard treatment. This panel was adhered to a Daffodil Delight mat and then to another Basic Black mat before popping up on the card front with more dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment from Bring on the Cake (W121899 or C121958) was stamped in Gumball Green ink, the bird from Betsy’s Blossoms in Tempting Turquoise and the flower trio in Daffodil Delight.
We’ll be covering the Chalkboard technique, as well as a flip-flop card template at our Template and Technique Class next Saturday 13th April.
If you’d like to join the class then please book by tomorrow teatime at the latest so that I can make sure we have enough project materials and take away goodies for everyone.

this is my second payment but is for my friend Mary, who asked me to book for her. Hope it is not too late. EL
I’ve emailed you to confirm that it’s OK, you’ve snapped up one of my extras that I always keep in reserve 🙂
Look forward to seeing you both on Saturday.
