Our Watercolour Crayons and Pencils may be all sold out but personally I prefer to do my colouring with inks and a Blender Pen (102845) anyway
There’s something really therapeutic about sitting and “colouring in”. I might also have been a little affected by the image itself though, it certainly has a very relaxing feel to it.
The card base is an A6 landscape of Soft Suede with the front edge die cut away using the Adorning Accents Edgelits (125595) and then embossed with the Adorning Accents folder (125601). A mat of Early Espresso card and another, slightly smaller one of Whisper White were also die cut along one edge to match the card front. The Summer Afternoon image (W126425 or C126427) was stamped onto the Whisper White mat with Black Stazon ink and coloured. Comfort Cafe DSP (126898) was used to edge the stamped mat and the inside back of the card. After layering the stamped image direct to the Early Espresso mat it was popped up on dimensionals on the front of the card.
I think this card works equally well as a Father’s Day card:
… using the sentiment from Delightful Dozen (W122650 or C122652).
… or a retirement card:
… using the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024).
The Summer Afternoon stamp set is a hostess set (meaning that you can only order it if you host a workshop) and if you host a £250 workshop before 30 May you’ll get an extra £25 to spend on top of the £40 you’d usually get. With the stamp set “costing” £17 for the wood mount version or £14 for clear mount that leaves plenty left over for all your other wish list items
Just email me to book your workshop.
