My good friend Jan recently moved house (in fact our next Paper Dolls team training meeting may well be at her new place, or is that palace? ).
The house move had involved a lot of backward slides and heartache and I’m so very thrilled that it’s all finally gone through.
I decided that the For the Birds stamp set would make a neat new home card.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Tangerine Tango. An aperture was die cut in some Summer Smooches DSP (125409) using the Apothecary Accents framelits (127003) (to make the front aperture layer stronger, the DSP was first matted onto some Whisper White card). Tangerine Tango ink was sponged around all the edges. After stamping the birdbath image from For the Birds (W126405 or C126407) onto Whisper White card using Black Stazon ink (101406), it was coloured using a Blender Pen (102845) and Stampin’ Write Markers (119806). The image was adhered direct to the card front and the aperture mat was popped up on dimensionals over it. The sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners (W126255 or C126257) was stamped in Tangerine Tango ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with the Bitty Banners framelits (129267) and adhered across the aperture.
The sentiment inside was computer generated and printed onto Whisper White card. Another image from the same For the Birds set, was stamped and coloured as for the front.
Can’t wait for our Paper Dolls meeting to get a better look at Jan’s new craft room! Why don’t you come along too and find out more about the benefits of being on our team, there’s no charge, just email me to reserve a space.
Sara xx
