Some of my longest attending class members couldn’t make it to the Template & Technique class last Saturday either due to their own illness or that of a close family member.

Unfortunately I didn’t have any cards in stock that I thought were suitable to send and didn’t have any spare time to make them immediately Frown but that’s been remedied now. Here’s the first of the cards that I sent to let them know I’m thinking of them and wishing them and their families a speedy recovery.

The card base is a 4″ square of Certainly Celery card (retiring colour and sold out!). After cutting away the front edge it was then lined with a panel of Tempting Turquoise card punched with the Scallop Edge Border (119882). A sentiment from Curly Cute (W117014 or C120510) (retiring – I’m so going to miss this set, love the font) was stamped down the exposed inside back edge using Old Olive ink. The vase and leaves from the Button Buddies set (W122735 or C122737) (retiring) was coloured directly to stamp with Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive markers and stamped onto Whisper White card. This was die cut out with the Ovals Collection framelits (129381) and matted direct onto further ovals die cut from Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery card before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. Finally Pumpkin Pie buttons (Brights 119747) (retiring) were added with glue dots at the tops of the stems.

The Whisper White insert was simply stamped with the flowers and stems coloured again direct to stamp, this time with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive markers, to echo the outside of the card.

Please remember that any retiring products are only available while supplies last so please don’t leave it too late to order any favourites.

Hope to see some of you at the Ross Papercraft Show tomorrow!
