My Friday feature last week, showing how to use our all occasion stamp sets for Christmas cards, used Lovely as a Tree. Now I think that this set has been part of the Stampin’ Up! offering ever since the beginning of the company, it definitely has since they opened for business in the UK. And there’s a very good reason for that, it’s an excellent all round set. Great for both male and female cards and all seasons.

Here, it has an autumn theme and would be just as suitable to send to a man as a woman.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Always Artichoke. Square frames were die cut from Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Always Artichoke card using Squares Collection framelits (130921). These were used for positioning and the tree and different leaves were stamped direct onto a Very Vanilla mat. The sentiment from Petite Pairs (W128706 or C122497) and a final sprig of greenery in the upper left corner were stamped in Always Artichoke ink. Markers and a Blender Pen (102845) were used to colour the various images. The mat was then adhered to the front of the card and the frames adhered in place, flat over the images so that this will be ideal for mailing.

On the Very Vanilla mat inside, more of the leaves and the sentiment from Perfectly Penned (W128703 or C122892) were stamped in Always Artichoke ink.
