This little treat was one of the make and takes at our Open House on Saturday. This version was designed for Valentine’s Day but since it doesn’t actually say valentine it could be used for other occasions. It would make a great little wedding favour.
A strip of Crumb Cake card was scored in the centre and then punched at each end with the Scalloped Tag Topper (133324). Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape (133000) was wrapped around the front. After stamping the large heart from Language of Love (Wood 133074 or Clear 133077) in Baked Brown Sugar ink onto Very Vanilla card, it was punched out with the Full Heart (119883) and popped up on the front with dimensionals. It was fastened closed with doubled up Gold Baker’s Twine (132975).
On the inside, a little piece of Crumb Cake card was scored, folded around and adhered in place to hold the chocolate mint and stop it from falling out of the sides of the holder. The row of hearts from the same Language of Love set was stamped onto Very Vanilla card with Baked Brown Sugar and just one of them punched out with the Small Heart (117193) and adhered in place.
Didn’t get chance to come to our Open House? This is another project that I could share with you and your friends if you host a workshop, just email me or give me a call on 0775 1133886 to book.
