A few weeks or so ago I shared a good luck card that I made for a colleague at work who was soon to take her driving test. Happily, this week I needed a Congratulations card for her! Woohoo, way to go Hannah.
As I’ve been working away in Birmingham the last few days and was tired from the driving, I gave my brain some time off and used this week’s SUDSOL sketch challenge as my starting point:
And here’s the Congratulations card:
The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. Using a Basic Black marker to selectively ink the Celebrate sentiment direct to stamp, from the Tag It set (Wood 130300 or Clear 130303), it was stamped along one edge of a Whisper White mat. A panel of Kaleidoscope DSP (132995) was adhered to the left side of the mat and a very narrow strip of Basic Black card was adhered down the right edge of the DSP before adhering all the layers to the card front. The You Did It stamp from the same Tag It set was stamped in Black Stazon onto Whisper White card and die cut out with the matching Chalk Talk framelit (129983). Another of the Chalk Talk framelits was used to cut small mats from Basic Black card which were adhered above and below the sentiment before popping them all up on dimensionals on the card front. Finally, Dazzling Details (124117) was used to “colour” the star on the cup.
On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment from the Feel Goods set (Wood 131916 or Clear 129684) was stamped in Black Stazon, a sentiment from Around the World (Wood 131080 or Clear 131083) was stamped in Strawberry Slush and a Merry Minis Punch Pack star (126882), punched from Silver Glimmer Paper (124005) was adhered to the top left corner.
I love having good news to stamp for
Sara xx
