Wondering how I used the left over Twisty Treat bags from yesterday (133513 –  available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration)?

hooray twisty treat

I die cut them as another layer to give a bit of an extra “twist” to this ombre banner card.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Early Espresso. Using Early Espresso ink, a sentiment from  Perfect Pennants* (Wood 133227 or Clear 133230) was stamped onto the lower left corner of a Very Vanilla mat before adhering to the card front. Reducing sizes of Banner framelits* (132173) were cut from Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze card along with the leftover printed cellophane (I found that I needed to cut the card and cellophane together to get a crisp cut, the cellophane on it’s own wouldn’t work). These were adhered together, across the top of the card front and a strip of Early Espresso card used to cover adhesive showing through the cellophane. A thinner strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885) was adhered to the strip and stars from the Merry Minis punch pack (126882), cut from matching cardstock centred within each banner.

On the Very Vanilla insert, the stripy banner from the same Perfect Pennants stamp set was stamped to different lengths with Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe inks. The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink and the stars in Crisp Cantaloupe.

Just shows how you can find a use for crafty leftovers Laughing
