The Heartfelt Banner kit  (133514 – free for just a few more days with £45  spend) contains 6 die-cut DSP banners (2 each of 3 designs), 5 doilies, 9 felt balls, 9 die-cut canvas banners, 7 mini clothespins, 2 pieces of Natural Linen Thread and a needle. No surprise then that I still have quite a few bits and pieces left over from this mini banner that I created with it.

I used some of the extra pieces recently to make a birthday card and used a few more today to make this any occasion card. The insert has been left blank so that I can stamp or write it when I know the occasion 

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crisp Cantaloupe. A mat of Calypso Coral was run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder (133520 – another freebie with £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration). After stamping the large heart from Language of Love (Wood 133074 or Clear 133077) with Calypso Coral ink onto Crisp Cantaloupe card, it was positioned behind the heart aperture in the canvas banner from the Heartfelt Banner Kit and the pieces adhered direct to the embossed mat. Pieces of Chevron Ribbon (132982) and Crochet Trim (118481) were wrapped around the top of the banner, securing them on the reverse of the embossed mat, before adhering it direct to the card front. A Pansy (130698) punched from Calypso Coral card was popped up on dimensionals onto a Blossom (125603) punched from Crisp Cantaloupe and the layered flowers popped up on more dimensionals on the card front. One of the felt balls from the Heartfelt Banner Kit was cut in half and one of the halves adhered direct to the centre of the flower. A single mini heart from the Language of Love heart border was stamped in Baked Brown Sugar ink onto a small heart from the Essentials Wooden Elements (132258) and then adhered direct to the card front. Finally, a number of Basic Rhinestones (119246) were dotted around to finish.
