Today’s project is a cute little bag in a box for the design challenge on SUDSOL. The challenge pointed me in the direction of a great video tutorial on Youtube by Sam Donald.

I was amazed at how easy and quick it was to make.

The bag in a box is made from a 6″ x 6″ piece of Kaleidoscope DSP (132995). It was placed on the Envelope Punch Board (133774and punched and scored first along one edge at 1-3/8″ and 4″ and then punched and scored on the remaining three sides at the points indicated by the first two score lines. A handle was punched in the wider “corners” with the Small Oval (120908). After stamping the striped hexagon from Six Sided Sampler set* (Wood 130953 or Clear 130956in Bermuda Bay onto Whisper White card, a sentiment from the same set was stamped in the gap in Strawberry Slush ink, before punching out with the Hexagon* (130919). This was matted onto a Hexagon of Basic Black and popped up on dimensionals on the box front.

* Buy the Six Sided Sampler stamp set and matching Hexagon punch together as a bundle and save 15% – Wood Bundle 132725 or Clear Bundle 132724

Have a great weekend.
