Blooming Mosaic thank you

Sometimes you don’t need a lot of stamping to make a big impact. Here, we’ve just added a border stamp above and below a sentiment.

If you’re nervous about stamping, then keep it simple and rely on the embellishments to fill the space around.

The card base is a large square of Crumb Cake. After adhering a strip of Pool Party card near the top, a piece of Real Red Taffeta Ribbon (119251) was adhered centrally over it. A  Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) was swiped with the Crushed Curry ink pad and then blotted (the doilies have a shiny surface and some ink remains on top, so take care that it doesn’t transfer accidentally). Just a section of the doily was adhered below the Pool Party strip. Real Red and Coastal Cabana markers were used to colour a sentiment from Blooming with Kindness (Wood 131961 or Clear 126422) direct to stamp before huffing and stamping onto Whisper White card. Borders from Mosaic Madness (Wood 130246 or Clear 130249) were stamped above and below the sentiment in Crushed Curry ink. After die cutting out with a Banner framelit (132173) the top of the banner was folded back and Linen Thread (104199) tied around before popping up on the front of the card with dimensionals. A leaf punched from Crumb Cake with the Bird (117191) was adhered across the top of the banner and Crumb Cake Candy Dots (130934) sprinkled around.

Hope you’ve had an enjoyable Father’s Day.
