Traveler birthday card – sneak peek

June 20, 2014

We have a great simple sketch the week for our challenge over at SUDSOL:

Sketch245

Simple graphic designs like this work very well for masculine cards (they’re also easily dressed up for feminine cards) and so does the new Traveler stamp set heading our way. This set will be available from 1 July and it contains 6 different vintage travel related images.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Early Espresso, matted with paper from the Moonlight DSP Stack (another sneak peek) and stamped in the bottom corner with a sentiment from Something to Say (yet another sneak peek) in Early Espresso ink. After stamping the camera from the Traveler set (sneak peek) in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White card it was punched out with the 1-3/4″ Circle (119850). This was matted onto a larger circle, die cut from Early Espresso card with a Circles Collection framelit (130911) and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

On the insert, the other half of the sentiment pair from Something to Say was stamped in Early Espresso ink. The speech bubble and the modern camera are from the Project Life Point and Click Photopolymer set (135787) which is available now! It’s so easy to see exactly where you’re stamping with these – I love ’em.

Have a great weekend.
