Today’s card is from a guest designer. It was made by my hubby for his Dad, whose birthday is today.
It’s a small card but as it’s handcrafted with love, I think that’s okay 🙂
The two of them took the trip of a lifetime on the Trans-Siberian railway in June, so the card has special relevance.
The card base is a small square of  Real Red, matted with Basic Black. Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz inks were sponged onto a square of Whisper White card. After stamping the train from the Traveler stamp set onto the card with Real Red ink, the train was stamped again onto half a Large Oval punched from Basic Black card. The train was cut away from the half oval and remaining piece was adhered over the original train to form the tunnel. A sentiment from Petite Pairs was stamped in the top left corner with Basic Black ink.
I’m so pleased that he takes the time to create handcrafted cards for close family and I know that they’re appreciated.
