Now that the Autumn/Winter catalogue has launched I’ll step back a little from all the Christmas projects 🙂
I’ll still include 1-2 a week but the remainder will be birthdays, thank you’s etc until we get a little nearer December.
Last week was my Mum’s birthday and I wanted to make a larger card so the Flower Patch set seemed ideal.
The card base is an A5 (a full A4 sheet folded in half) portrait of Calypso Coral, matted with Crisp Cantaloupe. A sentiment from Sassy Salutations was stamped in Versamark ink onto Park Lane DSP, heat embossed with White EP and then the layer adhered direct to the card front. The letters for MUM were die cut from Whisper White card using the Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz (which I got for half price by being hostess at my own workshop) and then adhered direct to the card front below the sentiment. A variety of flowers and leaves from the Flower Patch photopolymer set* were stamped onto Whisper White card using Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and So Saffron inks. They were die cut out with the matching Flower Fair framelits* and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Crushed Curry (Regals) and Whisper White (Neutrals) Candy Dots were used to finish the centres of the flowers.
* By the stamps and matching framelits together and save 15% on the Flower Patch Bundle
Mum tends to skip past the card front to read the verse first (I know! What a waste! Lol). So I printed a verse onto Whisper White card using the computer and then stamped more flowers from Flower Patch to create the insert.
I just love how I can colour match and create gifts and packaging all to match. The card goes with the gift box I shared earlier …
… and also the gift wrapped book.
The Big Shot makes cutting out the flowers so quick and easy and creates such a professional result. We still have a few days left of our great offer – buy a Big Shot and get a bundle free (up to a value of £47.50)!
Or get 15% off pre-selected bundles (including the one I used for the gift box).
Don’t miss out 🙂
