Today’s little card is a real quickie and although it’s been made as a Christmas card it could be for any occasion where you have a few appropriate sentiment stamps. Or even a single sentiment stamp – you can simply repeat the same phrase. It’s the pop of colour that works here, so even with a single phrase you can create a great effect.

The card base is a small square of Lost Lagoon. A wider washi tape from the All is Calm Designer set was wrapped diagonally around a smaller square of Whisper White. The main sentiment from the Good Greetings set (a hostess freebie) was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink, centred above the washi tape. This sentiment was then repeated on either side using Lost Lagoon ink and going off the edge of the card. Narrower washi tape from the same All is Calm Designer set was applied above the stamping and another sentiment was stamped above that in Lost Lagoon ink. This pattern was repeated above and below until the square was filled. The stamped and taped layer was matted onto Cherry Cobbler card and then adhered direct to the card front.

(Tip – a Stamp-a-ma-jig can be used to position the sentiments is needed – or choose a photopolymer set for even quicker positioning).

A single sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White insert in Lost Lagoon ink.
