Many Merry Stars Ornament

I make some variation of this little chocolate treat ornament every year. The idea gets recycled – just the stamps and punches/framelits change 🙂

I plan on making a few fancier versions but thought I’d share this simple one today, as most crafters have some circle punches and snowflake stamps tucked in their craft box, don’t they? (If not I can help you out there, lol).

Two 2″ Circles were punched from Island Indigo card. After stamping the large snowflake from Many Merry Stars onto Pool Party card with Island Indigo ink (x2) it was punched out with the 1-3/8″ Circle and each adhered to a larger circle. The small snowflake from the same set was stamped twice onto Whisper White card, punched out with the 3/4″ Circle and popped up on dimensionals. The centres were finished with mini Basic Rhinestones.

A single piece of Silver 1/8″ Ribbon was attached between the backs of the circles and a chocolate treat sandwiched between the two.

I often use Elizabeth Shaw mints in my ornaments but happened to have a chocolate coin handy for today’s version.

You can quickly and easily make a whole batch of these to hang on the tree 🙂
