For today’s card, just a few simple elements from the Sheltering Tree set were used with just two colours, to create a striking thank you card.

The card base is a small square of Melon Mambo, matted with Pear Pizzazz. Using Pear Pizzazz ink, the brushstroke from Sheltering Tree was stamped in the centre of a Whisper White mat. The same ink was used to repeatedly stamp the small flower stems. Using Melon Mambo ink the flower heads were stamped over the top of the stems. Although the sentiment in the set reads “Thankful for you”, I have cut the words apart to simply read “Thank you” and this was stamped below the image with Melon Mambo ink. The mat was then adhered direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, the stems were stamped once in the lower right corner with Pear Pizzazz ink and the flower heads over the top with Melon Mambo ink.
