One of the Sale-a-bration freebies you can choose when you make a £45 purchase, is the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack. This is a pack of 24 sheets of 6″ x 6″ vellum – 3 each of 8 designs. The designs match the designs in the Spring/Summer Botanical Gardens DSP and can even be overlaid onto them.

We used both the regular DSP and the vellum on this birthday card.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Basic Black. After stamping a sentiment from Party Wishes onto the vellum with Versamark ink and then heat embossing with White EP. (Tip – the embossing needs less heat on the vellum so hold your heat tool a little further away to get crisper looking text – mine was a little too close). The vellum was adhered to a panel of Botanical Gardens DSP and then to the card front and strips of the reverse side of the same pattern were adhered over the top (this hides any adhesive that would otherwise show through the vellum). A Silver Metal Button was threaded with Basic Black/Mint Macaron Baker’s Twine (a combo pack that also comes with Basic Black/Melon Mambo) and tied in a bow before adding to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert the sentiment was stamped in Mint Macaron and the row of candles was coloured direct to stamp with Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey markers and repeat stamped along the bottom of the insert.

Which of the Sale-a-bration freebies do you like best?
