Botanical birthday card

One of my favourite products in the new Spring/Summer catalogue is the Botanical Builder framelit die set. This is a set of 14 dies – a leafy edgelit, 5 different sizes of leaves, 5 flowers (2 of which have pop up petals) and 3 flower stamens/centres.

The framelits can bought separately or as a bundle, saving 15%, with both the Botanical Blooms stamp set AND the Botanical Gardens DSP!

I ended up with an extra pack of DSP because I hadn’t noticed it was included in the bundle, lol 😀

The bundle costs £46.75 which would qualify you for one of the Sale-a-bration freebies as well as getting you a great package of goodies.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black, matted with a piece of Botanical Gardens DSP cut on a diagonal and edged with a narrow strip of Old Olive card. A sentiment from Endless Birthday Wishes was stamped onto the card front with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White EP. Two frond leaves were die cut from Mossy Meadow card using the Botanical Builder framelits and adhered direct. A leaf vein from the Botanical Blooms stamp set was stamped onto Old Olive card with Mossy Meadow ink, die cut out and added to the card front. Two large flowers were die cut from Hello Honey, sponged with a little Cajun Craze in the centres and finished with large stamens die cut from Basic Black card. A smaller die was used to die cut a flower from Mint Macaron and the centre finished with smaller stamens die cut from Basic Black. All the flower petals were popped out and the flowers popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, more sentiments and the birthday cake from the Endless Birthday Wishes set were stamped in Basic Black.

Thanks for stopping by.
