This treat box was designed to go with the card I made for my Mum a few days ago. A bunch of us go for lunch to celebrate each other’s birthdays and I traditionally make a little treat box of choccies for the birthday gal. I used the same Berry Burst as my main colour as I used for the card and repeated the orchid as an embellishment.
The box base was die cut from Berry Burst with the Window Box thinlits. Each side panel had a small square of Crushed Curry adhered direct to it and then slightly larger squares of Berry Burst with the heart design die cut from them were popped up over the top with mini dimensionals. Old Olive card was die cut with the hexagon top from the same thinlits set, trimmed to shape and adhered direct to the box lid. The box was then assembled. The large two layer flower from the Climbing Orchid set was stamped onto Whisper White card with Berry Burst ink and die cut out with the co-ordinating Orchid Builder Framelits. The flower centre was stamped with Crushed Curry ink, overstamped with the detail stamps with Berry Burst ink and die cut out. The orchid was assembled and popped up on the box lid with mini dimensionals.
Here are a few choccies inside.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great bank holiday weekend
