Sara’s Crafting and Stamping Studio

Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

2nd Annual Pink Blog Hop

October 8, 2017

We are crafting today in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I’m just one stop on a global blog hop and each of us is featuring one (or more) of the many shades of pink, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

My card is designed to send to anyone who may need a little support along the way.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Powder Pink. Panels of two different patterns of A Whole Lot of Lovely DSP were adhered direct to the card front. The Lovely Words Thinlits were used to die cut the “hugs” circle from Powder Pink card and this was then cut out completely with the Layering Circle Framelits and matted onto a Layering Circle of Whisper White. These layers were popped up on the card front using dimensionals. Versamark was used to stamp a sentiment from Lovely Inside & Out onto Powder Pink card. This was heat embossed with White EP, the strip flagged at both ends and then popped up on dimensionals over the “hugs”.

Another version was made with the addition of the “& kisses” sentiment. Having quite a bit of “English reserve” the second version is just a bit too much for me. I prefer the first version.

What’s your view?

On the Whisper White insert a sentiment from You’ve Got This was stamped in Basic Gray ink.

Continue on your journey of inspiration, whether you came from the person before me or after me,  all participants are listed below.
