This was one of the gifts I gave to a crafting friend this Christmas.
It incorporates several existing products but also a couple of sneak peeks from the Spring/Summer catalogue that launches on 3 January.
Usually I would treat the side of the Acetate Box with the flaps as the front of the box but here it suited me to use the plain edges as the front as it made the embossing and the ribbon treatment easier.
One of the Petal Pair embossing folders (Spring/Summer catalogue) was slipped over the right “front” of one of the Acetate Card Boxes and run through the Big Shot. A sentiment from Crafting Forever was stamped onto Whisper White card with Berry Burst ink and die cut out with a Layering Circle. This was adhered to Layering Circles die cut from Lemon Lime Twist card, then to a Layering Circle die cut from Berry Burst card and finally to a Metallic Foil Doily. The Doily was threaded onto Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon. This was wrapped around the front of the box and tied on to it in a bow.
Two A6 portrait card blanks and two A6 card front layers were cut and folded for each of the 2017-2018 In Colors; Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide. These were packaged up in the acetate box.
