Coral Painted With Love Box

February 10, 2018

Back in January I made an Impossible Box with some Painted With Love Specialty DSP but because the lid reverses the pattern of the DSP which wasn’t what I wanted at the time I made a second box with Rich Razzleberry card.

Today, I’ve finished the box with the reversed lid 🙂

The original box was made following the instructions for an “Impossible Gift Box” by Paper Pixie on Youtube. You can access her video here. My box was made using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and with Painted With Love DSP. The “lid” was decorated with more pieces of Painted With Love Specialty DSP, matted on to Gold Foil (all following the dimensions given in the video). Using Rich Razzleberry ink a sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White. This was overstamped with the confetti pattern from the same set using Calypso Coral ink, stamped off first for a paler shade. Layering Circles framelits were used to cut out the stamped sentiment along with circles from Gold Foil and more Painted With Love Specialty DSP. The DSP and Gold Foil circles were adhered direct and then popped up on the box front with dimensionals. The stamped circle was then popped up on dimensional in the centre. A teeny bow of 1/8″ Gold Ribbon was adhered to the “lid” of the box with Mini Glue Dots.

The lid simply lifts up rather than being removed, to put goodies inside.

The Gold Foil circle and Gold Ribbon pick out the Gold Foiling on the paper perfectly.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
