Cross-stitched Christmas in blues

September 7, 2018

Continuing with the Cross-stitched Christmas in contemporary colours, today I have the stamp set in blues.

It’s been stepped up a little today in terms of design simply by adding an embossing folder, but then again there are no framelits this time, so is it stepped up? Stepped across maybe? 🙂

The colour combo is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and metallic Copper.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Bermuda Bay which was run through the Big Shot with the Quilt Top embossing folder, just on the right hand edge. Trees from the Cross-Stitched Christmas set were stamped onto a panel of Whisper White using Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana inks. Versamark ink was used to stamp the “baubles” and the star, heat embossing with Copper EP. The panel was matted onto Coastal Cabana card and two skinny strips of Copper Foil added to frame the stamped panel before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. Another skinny strip of Copper Foil was added at the edge of the embossed border.

On the Whisper White insert, a couple of sentiments from the set were added with Bermuda Bay ink and then a cross stitch motif was repeatedly stamped down the right side with Coastal Cabana ink, to give a border.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
