Cross-stitched Christmas in pinks

September 8, 2018

Still continuing with the Cross-stitched Christmas in contemporary colours, today the stamp set is in pinks.

I have a friend who loves everything pink so I think this one may be for her. In addition to an embossing folder this time, as it’s already quite girlie, I’ve also add a bow of Shimmer Ribbon.

The colour combo is Powder Pink, Melon Mambo and metallic Silver.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Powder Pink. A card front layer of Melon Mambo was run through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling embossing folder and then it was wrapped with Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon before adhering it direct to the card front. Trees from the Cross-Stitched Christmas set were stamped onto a panel of Whisper White using Melon Mambo and Powder Pink inks. Versamark ink was used to stamp the “baubles” and the star, heat embossing with Silver EP. The panel was matted onto Silver Foil before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. A bow of the same Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon was adhered above the panel with Glue Dots.

On the Whisper White insert, the other major item from the set, a bauble, was stamped in Powder Pink and Melon Mambo inks. There are three main stamps to the bauble but only two were used here. A couple of sentiments from the set were also added with Melon Mambo ink.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
